Hi All

Firstly I will apologise if you have recieved an email that was meant only
for the shop regarding picking up of meat!

A week tomorrow and the big day will have arrived.  We will be closed
Christmas Day, Boxing Day and New Years Day - but if anyone wants any eggs
on these days the hens will obviously still be laying!  

NEW LINES - HOMEMADE SOUP
Due to popular demand we are now stocking 500mls containers of homemade
soup supplied by "The Soupery" from Stoneleigh.  We currently have the
following flavours in stock, retailing at £2.50. 

* Brocolli, Carrot, Celery & Warwickshire Blue Cheese
* Butternut Squash, Chilli & Ginger
* Carrot & Coriander
* Leek & Potato
* Brussels Broth
* Roast Parsnip & Mustard Seed Spice
* Spicy Lentil

CHICKEN LIVERS
We are stocking Frozen Chicken livers in the shop at the moment, if anyone
feels like making their own pate.  I have been given a very simple recipe
from a well known teaching assistant in the village of Harvington who has
just retired!! - please ask if you are interested and I will send it to
you.

FRESH MEAT THIS WEEKEND
We will have the following fresh meat this weekend:

* BEEF
* PORK
* CHICKEN (Whole, Fillets and Thighs)
* DICED VENISON
* VENISON SAUSAGES WITH PORT, GARLIC, BLACK PEPPER & CRANBERRY
* WILD BOAR & APRICOT SAUSAGES
* VENISON & WILD BOAR BURGERS WITH APRICOT AND CRANBERRY
* RABBIT
* PHEASANT, MALLARD & PARTRIDGE

This is the last delivery of Venison and Wild Boar produce until January
5th, so if you want any over the festive period you will need to purchase
and freeze - please let me know if you would like any putting aside when
they come in on Friday. We do have the facility to freeze and you can
collect when you pick up any other orders Christmas week.

CHRISTMAS ORDERS
We are still taking orders for poultry subject to the size you require
being available.  We have some cuts of beef & Pork available, and it is
still possible to order: 

Sausages, 
Bacon, 
Gammons, 
Fruit and vegetables
Milk
Cream
Ice Cream
Bread
Cheese
Mince Pies etc

NEW BREAD SUPPLIER
Unfortunately our current supplier of bread is no longer continuing to do
Fresh Bread deliveries.  We have therefore decided to support a local
business. From Saturday 20th December we will be supplied by "Lawrences
Bakery" in Evesham.

HAMPERS
Thankyou to everyone who have requested hampers - we can make these up to
your own specifications if you let us know how much you would like to
spend.

The Adopt a hen scheme also seems to be going well - the children who named
and adopted the hens on the open Day seem to be having great fun collecting
the eggs and looking after their hens - it did make me smile when one child
asked "Which are the boy hens"!

I think that covers everything this week - hope all your Christmas plans
are running smoothly!  We are hoping to have mince pies and mulled wine
available in the shop Christmas eve, as a thankyou to all our customers who
have supported us this year.
