FARMING NEWS 

The apple orchards are blossoming well, so we are hoping for a good yield
of Discovery, Lord Lambourne, Russet and Bramley Apples. 

OPEN FARM SUNDAY JUNE 7TH 

The Tractor Drivers and Trailers are booked for Open Farm Sunday. We are
going to have set times for
the rides this year in the hope that everyone
who wishes will get to have a go... I know there were some disappointed
children last year! 

We are also planning to run a HORSE & HOUND competition - anyone who owns
a dog and fancys a challenge watch this space!! 

RECIPE OF THE WEEK 

ASPARAGUS & NEW POTATO FRITTATA 

Serves 4 

INGREDIENTS 

6 tbsp extra virgin olive oil 

1 large onion, finely diced 

450g new potatoes, washed & diced 

200g (trimmed weight) Asparagus 

30g finely grated Parmesan
