Hello

The title of this email was thought up by David - he seems to have this
notion that people will be cooking romantic meals this weekend! I'll wait
and see!!

We were amazed at how well the beef sold in the middle of January, and have
therefore got organised to have fresh beef back again this weekend as we
were selling out of some of the cuts.

This weekend we will have the following cuts available

Joints
Fillet Steak
Sirloin Steak
Rib Eye Steak
Fore Rib on the bone
Sliced Braising Steak and Shin
Diced Stewing Steak
Mince

FRESH VENISON

We are still able to source the following cuts of Venison

Diced Venison
Venison Steaks
Venison Garlic & Port Sausages
AND Wildboar and Apricot Sausages which have been very successful

GAME
Peter, our source of Pheasant, Partridge and Mallard thought he may still
have some available to dress fresh, but before we left he couldn't confirm
this!  

RYELAND LAMB
We have had very good feedback on this meat, and are therefore having a
small amount again this weekend.

OTHER FRESH MEAT

Free Range Chicken, fillets, thighs and legs
Farm Assured Whole Chicken
Pork - Loin chops, leg, shoulder, Diced and belly Draft.

David, I and the children are actually away at the moment in the Lakes, but
if you would like to order any produce Ann is holding the fort, you can
ring her at the shop and leave a message 01386 870296.  If you do see her
please say how grateful we are to her!

When we left the lambs were all doing really well, even considering the
foul weather - funnily enough there is not a lamb in sight up here!  Still
lots of snow on the Fells.  I also noticed the price of beef mince, £9.38
/ kg ( compared to £4.99 / kg) - whatever happened to North-South divide!
