David cooked Adrain's Parmesan Chicken recipe for mothers day, and it was
very yummy!! EVESHAM HOTELS ELIZABETHAN PORK RECIPE - Thankyou Sue It
sounds complicated as there are lots of ingredients but it is easy and
is
great as main course or as a hot dish on a buffet with rice. Serves 8
1.5kg leg of pork 1 head of celery, sliced thinly 2 onions, peeled and
sliced thinly 100gm dried apricots, sliced 100gm raisins 100gm dried dates,
sliced Grated zest and juice of 1 lemon Grated zest and juice of1 orange 2
apples 1 tablespoon honey 25gm flour bottle red wine teaspoon each of
marjoram, thyme, rosemary font-family: Arial;">1 teaspoon powdered nutmeg 3
cloves garlic 1 teaspoon curry powder salt and pepper Dice into 1inch
cubes the meat from a 1.5kg leg of pork, trim off any fat. Fry the cubes
a few at a time in a little oil till golden brown and put them into a
casserole dish Fry the onion slices until golden brown and add to the
pork with all the other ingredients. Mix well Cover the casserole tightly
and cook at gas 2 / 150C until tender - approximately 3 hours ALTERNATIVE
EASTER EGG We have had a number of people adopting hens this week as an
alternative Easter Egg present. For a
cost of £5 we issue a certificate,
and on two separate occasions you can come and collect half a dozen eggs to
take home free of charge. You are welcome to come and help collect eggs and
visit the hens as often as you like! We are still bottle feeding the
lambs, although Emily and Rosie are looking a little portly so we are
reducing the strength of their bottles! That covers everything for this
week - hope there are not too many mistakes, I am tired this week! Kind
regards Sara
