Hello All
ASPARAGUS
We now have Harvington Asparagus available in the shop - like last
year, it is coming from Karen at New Inn Lane Nurseries. The official
start
of the season is April 23rd.
Today David has just mended the fence surrounding our own Asparagus, to
try
and stop the lambs helping themselves! It is just beginning to start
peeping through the soil, roll on more warm weather......
SPECIAL OFFER CONTINUED - DICED PORK
We are doing a special offer on the frozen diced pork at the moment - buy
two packs and get the third pack free. To date we haven't put a sign up
in the shop, to keep the offer exclusive to subscribers.

FRESH MEAT AVAILABLE THIS WEEKEND - This weekend we will have our own
HOGGET / HOGGART. This is the term for lamb aged 1 - 2 years old. This
meat tends to be stronger and more intense in flavour; and requires longer
cooking time to tendernize the meat. See recipe of the week for tips on
cooking!

FARMING NEWS
David has been busy muck spreading this week, before ploughing and then
planting sweet corn - I hasten to add the aroma of chicken manure is
nothing to do with us!
