Bananas - the riper the better!
Butter
Church Lench or Cookhill Honey
Rum, Whiskey, Brandy, Sherry or whatever you have!!
METHOD
In a non stick frying pan, fry the bananas in butter until caramalised
underneath - usually about 4-5 minutes
Add honey to taste and turn bananas over and cook for a further 4-5
minutes
Add enough spirits to dissolve the sugar and cook for a minute or so
Serve hot with cream or ice cream
Could do with some more recipes - please keep sending them in......
BRITISH ASPARAGUS FESTIVAL
David and I attended a meeting today on the above, which takes place
between April 23rd and June 21st every year, the official Asparagus season.
We will no doubt run an event to help promote the counties traditional
vegetable which we grow here on site!
Seems to be a quiet time of year on the produce front, but it wont be very
long before David and Cyril are bundling rounds of Asparagus.......
We have got some Fresh Purple Sprouting from Ebrington at the moment - the
first since the snow!
Have a good week, I haven't forgotten about the Christmas questionnair -
it is my intention to have ready for next week......
Kind regards
Sara
