Hello All
We knew as soon as David decided to start the Harvest the weather would
change! I personally feel it is more bearable - to work in anyway.
NEW LINES - DAIRY HOUSE SMALL YOGURTS
You will be pleased to hear that the Dairy House are starting to make
their small 125ml pots of both whole milk and low fat. We will have a
variety of flavours available this week in both options.
In addition we will have their fresh Cheese cakes and the large yogurt
pots in:
Natural Whole Milk
Natural Low Fat Milk
Damson Whole Milk
SPOT LOGGIN ICE CREAM
A lot of people have asked about whether Spot Loggin do larger tubs of ice
cream - the answer is yes they do! They produce a 2.3 litre of any flavour
for £11.99 - this is far more economical than buying the 500mls tubs at
£4.20. We have Honey Comb, Pure Dairy, Vanilla and Strawberry in stock,
but are able to order in any flavour you so wish. The only disavantage is
you may be tempted to eat more........!
SLICED ROAST POTATOES IN GARLIC IN THYME
These are one of the Frozen Field Fayre lines. They are simply placed on
a baking tray and cooked for 20 minutes. Something simple and little bit
different if you like garlic.
COTSWOLD PIE COMPANY
This week we will have Steak & Kidney pies in Fresh, made with our own
beef. There are Stow pies and Steak & Ale pies available in the freezer.

FARMING NEWS
David was hoping to go combining this week - so you can blame him for the
change in weather! The grain is used to feed the cattle during the winter
months, and the straw to bed them down in the barns.
We have also just bought a few Devonshire Hefers with calves - one of
which is a well bred bull calf. The long term plan is to try and start a
pure bred herd of a very traditional British Breed. They are far more
placid in temperament than the French Limousin..........!
Watch this space!
Best wishes
Sara
