Hello All

I have had some very satisfying evenings de-frosting freezers in the shop!
One of those jobs you put off and put off, but it is actually well worth
the effort when you see the finished job - Now I really know I am loosing
the plot....!!! 

OPEN FARM SUNDAY THIS WEEKEND.  PLEASE COME & SUPPORT OUR EVENT IF YOU
HAVE TIME 11AM - 4PM

HAVE A GO AT ANGLING
I am very pleased to inform you that we will have Mal Jones attending the
Open Day from 3pm.  Mal is a member of the Angling Development Baord with
full CRB disclosure.  He will be based at the lake between 3 - 6pm with the
sole purpose of helping anyone that would like to, come and have a go at
angling.  

We now have a definitive site plan and time table which I have attached to
this email for those wishing to print off.

The events will run as follows:

11.00am - Plant your own seeds - (supervised by my mum)!
11.30am - Help Collect eggs from our own Free Range Hens
          First Tractor & Trailer Ride - these will run regulalrly through
out the day
12.00pm - Novelty Dog Show
12.30pm - Taste our Hot Roast leg of lamb
12.45pm - Watch a professional Gun Dog Demonstration
1.30pm -  Plant your own Seeds
          Taste our Hot Roast leg of Lamb
2.00pm -  Horse & Hound Demonstration
2.30pm -  Dog Agility Demonstration
          Egg Collecting
3.00pm -  "Have a go" at Dog Agility
          "Have a go" at Angling
3.30pm -  Plant your own seeds


ACTIVITIES THROUGH OUT THE DAY

* Tastings in the Marquee - New supplier "Historic Foods" will be amongst
the many in attendance, and we will be sampling our own Lamb Sausages!
Thanks to Paula Bracewell and Becky Merrell amongst many others

* Refreshments will be available to purchase in the form of Tea, Coffee,
Sue's Cakes, Our own Beef Burgers and Lamb & Pork Sausages.  Thanks to
Roger & Angela Small, Katrina Hinks for the kind Loan of their Barbecue &
Cathy Davies.

* Nature Trail - A factual walk around the countryside with all completed
sheets being entererd for a free prize draw to win a "Hen Adoption" -
Thanks to Cathy Davies and all her time preparing fact sheets.

* Tractor & Trailer Rides - David has a new route planned this year!

* Sheep Shearing Demonstration - Fingers crossed for dry weather.  Thanks

* Meet the Indian Runner Ducks, Shetland Mare & Foal, Pet Lambs, Cow &
Calf & Pygmy Goats.  Thanks to Charlotte Lewis and Andy Tracey 

* Explore the Combine Harvester.  

* Watch a Mini Steam Roller demonstration.  Thanks to Richard Dorrell.

* Arts & Crafts Tent for Children to make you a master piece.  Thanks to
Kate Disheart and Sophie.

* Face Painting.  Thanks to Judith Brownlee

* Professional Photographer Alison will be here to take photographs of
your children patting a lamb, having a go at Dog Agility or a family shot
of a fun day out in whatever setting you like!
